Flame brake light decals

The outside taillight graphics come in three pieces for easier installation. Just line up the cut lines to see where they go. The inside decal has one curved edge – this edge goes on the top toward the license plate. The center decal has no curved edge.

Rear Deck Delete.

Apply to rear deck, aligning the cutout around the Faux Gas Cap. Once completely dried, roll the edges around the deck lips, which will provide a seamless look.

Rear Deck Stripe.

Align stripe so that the 3rd brake light cutout is centered over the 3rd brake light. Once completely dry, remove the transfer tape and push edges around brake light in. This helps to reduce visible paint between the graphic and the brake light.

Bumper Letter Inserts

Bumper letter inserts should be placed in the bumper letter recesses while wet with solution. This will allow you to reposition the graphic and work air bubbles out.

Third Brake light Graphic

Position over the third brake light using the solution, then squeegee out air bubbles. Let dry completely and remove the transfer tape.

TO APPLY GRAPHICS:

1. WASH CAR BY HAND!! Then clean the surface area with rubbing alcohol or soapy water to get all dirt/debris off car.

2.Spray surface with solution.

To make Solution: Mix in a spray bottle 20 ounces of water, 1/4 teaspoon of liquid dish soap and 1/2 teaspoon of rubbing Alcohol.

3.Carefully peel wax backing off decal, and spray with solution. This solution will allow you to move the decal until you have it in place. Once you have it positioned, start in the center and squeegee the decal down.

4. To REMOVE transfer tape (if applicable): AFTER DECAL HAS DRIED COMPLETELY, WET the transfer tape and allow it to soak. start to peel away SLOWLY, spraying solution between tape and graphic.

***TIP**** for application, start in the center, working up and down, then work your way to the ends.

***TIP*** be careful not to get the backing paper wet, as this will activate the adhesive, and the paper will stick to the backing paper (backing paper is also called a “release liner”)

4.Be sure to work out bubbles. Some small bubble might remain or appear, if you can, carefully work these to the nearest edge of the decal. If any are left, they should lay down in a few days: if they do not, you can prick them with a needle to release moisture.
