Reverse C stripe Instructions

These items are transfer taped for your convenience. Leave this tape on until stripes have completely dried, then carefully peel it off, spraying between tape and decal as you go.

First, clean the surface area with rubbing alcohol or soapy water to get all dirt/debris off car.

Then spray surface with solution. To make Solution: Mix in a spray bottle 20 ounces of water, 1/4 teaspoon of liquid dish soap and 1/2 teaspoon of rubbing Alcohol.

Carefully peel wax backing off decal, and spray with solution. This solution will allow you to move the decal until you have it in place. Once you have it positioned, start in the center and squeegee the decal down

***TIP**** start in the center, working up and down, then work your way to the ends.

Start by placing your fender pieces, making sure to keep the spacing even on top and bottom of emblem area (if applicable) and so that they just run off the backside of the fender... this is what you will wrap around behind the fender.

THEN place top and bottom stripes. Aiming the top stripe at the door handle. Place bottom stripe and center through the bottom rocker area. Make sure both of these are in line with the C stripes. You should have extra to tuck behind the surface area to complete the look.

Last is the rear section. Align with the rear of the fender flare and even with the side marker light. This piece angles up slightly, as is did on the original cars back in the 60's.

Once stripes have dried COMPLETELY, remove transfer tape.

Be sure to work out bubbles. Some small bubble might remain or appear, if you can, carefully work these to the nearest edge of the decal. If any are left, they should lay down in a few days: if they do not, you can prick them with a needle to release moisture.

I would love to see photos when they are done!!! Photos of these graphics are very hard to come by, and are helpful in helping people decide on colors.
